Another fight in which resulted in a death was Emile Griffith fight with Benny Paret. That was sick because right before the fight Benny was taunting Emile terribly and Emile erupted in the ring with these devastating punches which of course resulted in tragedy.

It was an accumulation of punches he was taking throughout the fight he had with Mancini but I think it was a quick flurry combo that put Kim down.It has been so long since I have seen that fight. I will never forget how Du Ku Kim fell to the canvas and the empty look he had in his eyes. It was a sick morbid reality to our sport.

I think Ricky Hatton died for at least 10 seconds when Pac hit him with the left hook in that fight. Makes me wonder if he actually saw heaven and met Jesus.

yep. after he got knock down by mancini, he still got up and fought like a warrior
that fight had to stop in 10 round. his corner and trainer make him died not mancini.

i'm so proud of him. he showed us the spirit.

Dude died about 4 months ago down here in biloxi or gulfport in the ring. Read about it in the paper they never said what caused it medically...

Boxers deserve all the respect in the world. It amazes me that boxers are called bums especially at the medium and higher levels.
