Tommy had great 1 punch power. One of the best ever with one shot. Pavlik grinds you down, and destroys you with accumulation. I'd rather get koed by hearns though. Pavliks beat downs are career altering.

Its straight, Im a lil hungover and being pissy. I know Hearns KOs were great, I was just imagining if Pavlik landed some of his right hands on a WW.

        Peace.
Duran and that one guy who died shortly afterward would not disagree there. He also had much better hair.

Pavlik has a lot of power but Hearns was something else, it seemed he shot people down with a *******. Just watch the Pipino Cuevas fight.

Hearns, what's 13 lbs when you're talking about true power? Look at the heavyweight division. Tyson was considered small and was the most feared puncher of his time, Pacquiao has gone from 130 to 147 in the space of 12 months and is still knocking guys out and is seen as one of the biggest welterweight punchers today.

            Hearns had serious, serious power.

Hearns was one of the best One-Punch KO guys to ever lace on the gloves. He power was so great it carried to Lt Heavy and beyond.

Pavlik has good power, but not in the same league as a Hearns, Julian Jackson etc. Pavlik's power is more of a heavy handed beat you up type of power, mainly because his opponents see his punches coming and can prepare for them due to his lack of speed. If pavlik had more speed and could hit guys by surprise, his one punch KO power would be pretty high also I think.
