The top fighters in that weight class will whoop his ass. Diaz, Campbell, Katsidis, and Marquez all have his number.
Anyone else think Soto is in for a rude-awakening at 135?

He hits hard, so is a danger to the people you mentioned (apart from Campbell who can't make 135)Comment

On average Mexican fighters can go as high as 3 weight divisions and still is effective; Chavez, Morales, Barrera, Marquez, all are elite and HOFers became three divisions champions. Morales and Barrera who both started at superbantam maxed out at superfeather. We know JMM who started at feather maxed out in his third division up at lightweight. You dont have to be a genious to realize Marquez looked like **** at 144 fighting Floyd. He was only good for maybe a round or two, after that the bastard looked like his feet were glued to the canvass because of the added weight.
I looked at Humberto's record at boxrec. He has even fought at bantam at the start of his career but I think the dude is the same size as Morales and Barrera, and we all know Soto may not belong in the same sentence with those aforementioned. With his age and mileage I think he has maxed out at superfeather too and lightweight maybe a step too far with the opponents bigger than him who might just laugh at his punches. Once that happens he's surely ****ed with the likes Valero, Katsidis, and Funeka.Last edited by RepublicaEnemy1; 12-20-2009, 05:32 AM.Comment
