I'm not sure Ricky can make 140lbs now, if it happens in the summer than its >1 years since his last fight (in May vs. pacman), he's put on a lot of weight and i won't be surprised if the fight is at a catch-weight, maybe 143lbs?

that way Khan won't lose his title if he loses and ricky can make weight, win-win situation.. Also, Khan may have to fight before that (mandatory vs. Maidana?), probably in March. I guess we'll see how his chin in in that fight..

but i reckon it's improved and will improve even more if/when he moves up in weight - Khan will make a lethal welterweight and if he manages to retain his speed, he'll destroy 154lbs division in 3/4 years time if he moves up. he certainly has the physique - 5ft10", big frame, and he also has a long reach and is very fast, skillful and has power.
The only question is his chin.

Hatton is looking for big money fights. BUT...

This is a risky fight for Hatton. He will be KOed again if this happens, specially that Roach is with Khan.

If he wants to fight again he should fight a less riskier maybe campbell or peterson?

Khan would steamroll Hatton right now. He'd do a Pacquiao on him.

Freddie Roach would teach Khan the "left hook role under" and he will embarass Ricky Hatton with it just like Manny did.

He doesn't even need to do that. Khan has a big reach for a LWW, and I could picture him doing a Salita on Hatton from right across the ring in the first round.

Hatton needs to just retire his fat ass and keep ****ing that hot beezy of his - otherwise he'll get his head ****** in by the next good opponent he faces.

It would be amazing if he could pull of that trademark move though. "vintage pacquiao" is what I like to call it. This is pretty funny:

I really think Amir should take this page from Manny's book and use it against hatton. It would be a classic if he pulled it of in the same manner as pacquiao did.

The fight will happen. It makes a fair amount of money and i dont think Ricky likes the thought of Khan being a belt holder in what he conciders his division. If he can lose the weight and get to 140, which he always manages to do, I expect this fight to be made.

Hatton is a big step up in class for Khan, and Hatton has fought better than Khan before. I wouldn't rule out a KO win for the hitman. Someone is getting KOd in this fight, and I'd pick Hatton to win it on experiance alone.
