Before the Martinez fight, I didn't think Pavlik would have much of a chance, saw him getting outworked. But seeing as how Paul's chin was vulnerable to the relatively light hitting Sergio and seeing how well Kelly was mixing it up on the inside, working uppercuts with both hands, I'm liking his chances of stopping Williams.

That's the key here. He comes at Williams like that he will get hit like crazy, I mean Kelly will land on Paul too, but Paul is longer, faster and throws better combinations, he will find the mark more and bust Kelly up.

Kelly's chance lies in going to war with Williams and hoping he has the power to hurt and knockout Williams. And while Kelly has heavy hands he isn't a one punch KO artist, he had to hit Espino a ton tonight to finish him and Williams has a much, much better quality chin than a guy like Espino.

Espino is a small JMW, that said he can't possible get below 156, has fought as high as LHW and at MW most of his career. Mkay.

Yet has a 50% KO ratio fighting mostly cab drivers at JMW and WW. Mkay.

sergio has mediocre jr MW power....Pavlik has legit MW power...Paul Williams is not Bernard Hopkins...Paul Williams is a go-forward fighter....Kelly Pavlik destroys come forward fighters...simple math

Not when he faces a straight comeforward fighter like Pavlik. Granted it's not excellent, but it's better then when he fights a mover who counters.

I thin Pavlik takes some shots against Williams, ut when he lands 2 or 3 right uppercuts like tonight, Williams goes down and out
Nah. Williams gets hurt when he can't see punches coming. He'd see Pavlik's, but Williams has a pretty good chin.

Williams is a tough fight for Pavlik mainly due to his work ethic and being southpaw.

One thing that is against Pavlik in fighting Williams is Pavlik always seems to let the other guy get off his own before he throws himself. You cannot wait on Williams so Pavlik will have to correct that bad habit.

I see it as a tough fight for both guys. Williams is not the world beater everyone expected and Pavlik is not as one dimensional as many think.
