        I was told at a local chain bar, that they pay 1700 for UFC and about 3000 for boxing events. Only paying 800 to 1000 for a local hero is a great price. I certainly can understand shutting them out so they can sell event tickets. The event tickets cover more of the costs of the venue. Yeah sucks to be the bars but why cry about it, anyone can sit at home and get the fight.
