Top contender? No. Maybe ranked highly and you have to take into consideration where those guys were in their careers when he fought them.

Ruiz went on to beat Bautista, Pastrana went on to beat Escalante and he only had 2 losses to Marquez at the time. Santos sucks, but it was a notebale win.
