Well...Jones and Tito was a battle between two way past prime fighters. And I think Tito obviously did not belong at 170 pounds. He was outclassed in that fight and Jones did whatever he wanted. I don't think either of them seriously hurt Jones.

Tito had 45 fights 36 of which were 140 -150. 3 at more or less 154. 5 at 160 and one at 170.
????????????????? He doesn't hit harder that Tyson either.
He was maybe the hardest punching WW ever but for so many to really think that he could hit harder than a good decent punching SMW is laughable.

So even with half assed girly slaps Joe has ko'd almost 70% of his opponents you say? He must be one of the hardest hitters ever if he can do that without committing to punches.

You want to believe what supports your theory but facts dont support it.

Tito has the power to KO Jones, he just never landed a clean hard shot upstairs.

You don't really believe what you are saying you are only in this thread in fact because we are talking about a PR fighter. You are not a real boxing fan but just a race baiter.

Calzaghe hits hard with his left. He's broken his hands in a few fights I believe. I think I recall him jabbing with his right for like 8 rounds VS Ashira. He has very brittle hands but it made him become a better boxer. In the early days he use to try to brawl and he was good, but not great at it. However I personally think he is great at boxing despite what many think on here.

PS. Tito had wraps that were apparently illegal in some states. People forget that so easily

As much as I hate looking at Joe's technique he had some good pop in his punches and I would think his punches hurt more than Tito's.

Calzaghe in his prime was fast and sat down on punches. He was fighting not so great guys but they were at 168. I can not see how you can compare 147-160 max chins and punches to 168.

I have a feeling this will turn into another Calzaghe hate thread.

That is the key word right there. Some states... Really the wrapping had nothing to do with his power. It just has to do with protecting his hands. But, the power was always there.
