Klitschkos aren't getting any younger.
Is David Haye gaining any advantages by waiting to fight the Klitschkos?

He gains a decent pay day unlike the first time around.
People need to realise that when Setanta went belly up last year Haye's only source of revenue for the fight disappeared, teh K bro's took all the gate money, all the global Tv money and Haye got the setanta money, without that money he was fighting and probably losing for nothing, no scratch that he was paying money to lose. -

Simply put, yes.
Vitali is the harder brother to beat for a guy like Haye, and Vitali is the older of the two. If he could wait it out for another 9 to 12 months, that means a lot. Asking anyone older man, regardless of his shape, that once he gets around the big 4-0, an age to year will definitely take it's toll. It might not make him more punch-vulnerable, but it will definitely slow his reflexes down, and potentially might make him tire.
Haye could hope for something like this to happen. Regardless of if it will, it's still something that could benefit him.
Now, that's not to say that Wladimir is an easy target. But, because of his chin, he's at the very least, easier. For a guy like Haye, the aging and such could help him but Vitali is who he has to worry about. Getting rid of him first and then finishing with Wladimir would be the ultimate goal.
Think of it this way. The sticking and moving against a guy like Vitali, might be what Haye has to do. So, the fight could be considered boring, like many thought the Valuev fight was. So, his last major conquest before having to worry about his reign and how long it lasts, would be with Wladimir. Wladimir and his suspect chin provide and nice cushion for Haye. If he could beat him in dominating or atleast stunning fashion, it erases the other two mediocre fights.
So, even if he loses to a guy like Vitali, at least he went about it in a smart way. Because Valuev, then Ruiz the mandatory and Vitali could all either not matter or be boring. If he loses, at least he tried. If he wins, then he has the slightly easier of the two brothers in Wlad and then the division is his. It could either get him stopped, or he could look like a really smart man and a big star.
Also, Haye buys himself more time to mature into a FULL fledged Heavyweight. The wait isn't the worst thing for the far younger Haye, when he thinks about facing the Klitschko's.Comment

For the record, I'm not picking any of the potential fights I mentioned in that post. I'm simply speaking in hypothetical terms.
I will say. Haye TKO over Ruiz.Comment
