Does ATG = Undefeated?

I'm just wondering since a lot of people are saying that Mayweather is an ATG simply because he's undefeated.

Dont get me wrong, hes a near excellent fighter but I dont think he should be known as an ATG till he wipes out WW.

Don't bring in Pacman into this thread, because bringing him will only cause a flamewar and its irrelevant.

No. ATG does not = undefeated. A true ATG takes risks. If they take that risk and lose then they come back and try again.

Well his credentials are questionable now with his recent fight with JMM, but he did take risks in fighting Castillo and Coralles in the past.

Alot of experts have him rated as the #1 SFW of alll time but he's not an ATG even though he's moved up to 4 classes since then unbeaten, and he's regarded as the #1 or 2 fighter in the game? Get real man

Floyd is an ATG, give it a rest. if ur a manny fan why would u want to deminish floyd's credentials? the better and the greater he is, the better it would be for manny to beat him. Or would u want many to beat a nobody?
