    Edwin Valero vs Ali Funeka

This could very well go down.

Valero is fighting DeMarco and Funeka is fighting Reyes possibly on the same Showtime card. Obviously if they both win, it would make perfect sense to square off.

I could see Funaka dominating for 8 rounds. Busting Valeros dome and then getting caught and being laid out. Interesting fight. I would roll with Funeka on points.

ive seen funeka get dropped by a fatigued, old nate campbell...

i want to see him how he does if he gets hit by a younger, fresher & more powerful valero...

funeka would be in danger all night.......if campbell can drop him, valero would take his head off...on a good night, if funeka survives the first 3 rounds, he rips valero up until the fight ends.....but i think valero would ventuallly catch him.....

I would think Funeka would win too, if not for the knockdowns he suffered by Nate Campbell. Campbell isn't that big of a puncher. Those two knockdowns I believe were both on the side of the head/temple area and Valero lands those types of shots all the time. Still, Funeka is just so big it would be a question if Valero could land them cleanly on him and early enough before he possibly could get worn down.

Strange that Funeka faced the better competition and Valero is a two time champion.

Valero shatters the bones of this goddamn skeleton I say, get out of the lightweight division and go back to those Feed the Children infomercials. Failed against Campbell and Guzman, HE'S A BUM. Valero fears no man, he will destroy you and your family. VALERO REJECTS YOUR COUNTRY AND CULTURAL VALUES AND SPITS IN YOUR FACE, VIVA VENEZUELA!

Valero by brutal KO within 2-3 rounds.

This would be a very good fight but I get the feeling that Funeka's chin is a little fragile, if he gets hit by Valero it would probably be lights out.
