How is Shane Mosley rated ahead of Mayweather in the division they both fight in, yet Mayweather is ahead of Mosley in the pound for pound rankings? Is that just because Mayweather usually weighs more than his opponents and Mosley usually fights bigger guys? Or that Mayweather knows how to take advantage of contracted weights?

But more seriously, it's probably 'cause Mosley is more proven at WW (Coming off a win over Marg, who was Number 1 due to the Cotto win), while Mayweather has a win over JMM and nothing else recent due to his retirement. However, he is a more skilled fighter and has done better multi-divisionally over his career. Or something like that.Comment
