My thoughts on EM vs MAB III

What a fight, back and forth all night. It was close 2 or 3 rounds and Barrera was chosen the winner without controversy this time. I think it was the right choice.

Though i think it was a great fight easily fight of the year, Something was weird about Erik. He seemed stiff... i kept looking at the in dressing room cam and he wasnt warming up 10 minutes till they came out and i barely started to see him move a little bit that got me worried right away. There seemed to be something definitely missing from his tenacity too.. everytime he took the initiative he would land big. But he just didnt have it in him or something. Maybe he is the war-spent one now.

Either way im Happy Barrera won and won it right. Kudos to him. Im always glad to see a veteran come back and win against the young man. However im kinda sad because I wanted to see Morales fight pac since I believe Morales can beat Pac pretty handily. But now that fight is probably not gonna happen. I dont think Barrera can beat PAC but i will be rooting for him if they do rematch which im sure they will.

However even though he lost Morales still delivered on his promise and gave us a great show like he always does. He can hold his head up in his defeat.

Good job Barrera and I hope u come back to full swing.

Erik lost this fight because he was TOO BIG, guy was 143 pounds and could not carry the weight well. Barrera only put on 2 pounds since the weigh-in and speed was the deciding factor in this fight.

That what makes a fighter great . . . the heart go for a big fight even if his back is already against the wall and the ability to win it. You don't count the heart of the Champion out.

If MAB lost here it could have been the end of his career!

And I thought EM was a cheater for going to 130 and asking the 126-ers to fight at his weight 'coz he got the advantage. Boy, was I wrong!!!

I admit I thought this fight had snooze written all over it. Man was I wrong. This turned out to be one of the best of the year. Barrera is such a warrior and did not quit. He really suprised Morales on how quickly started to take control of the fight. With Barrera busting his nose in the second round it took Morales too long to get back into the fight. These two will always be evenly matched when they meet and it could go either way, you can't count any of these guys out in a fight between each other.
