Floyd can't potshot to UD win against Pac because...

True but they know who lands and who missus , Floyd rarely gets tagged thats why he wins with such low punch rate , its his high accuracy and ability to not get hit that gives him the wins , Pac will have loads of trouble trying to catch Floyd and as Floyd starts to pick him off Pac will get a little tentative then all of a sudden Pacs work rate slowed , I love Pac as a fighter just I think Floyds style will disect Pacs , it will come down to styles I feel .
Rod, lots of respect to your boxing knowledge, specially when it comes to weight issues BUT, you speak of Pacquiao like he's your ordinary, conventional boxer, who's boxing stance and style is what you see in a gym everyday. Pacquiao's movements alone could get Floyd thinking all night, trying to figure out where Pacman will attack next, he's the only boxer that makes his opponents feel like they're surrounded. Pac's is a geometrical nightmare, he comes at weird angles (were you least expect) that you can't prepare for. There was instance when Oscar was letting his hands go while Pacquiao was actually on his left side, about to throw something at him.
The words "tentative" and "Pacquiao" doesn't belong in the same sentence I believe. He gets tag with a Howitzer here and there, but I've never saw him backed down from a fight. He'll nod, he will raise his hands, he will knock his boxing gloves and will never stop coming at you. Floyd's previous opponents' work rate couldn't even come close to Pacquiao's work rate. His starts and finishes have the same ferocity, and he will never stop at nothing to get a
KO, and he will be the best finisher Floyd will ever face.
... and don't be surprise if you might see a lot of these come March 13:

Fair answer mate and I respect Manny greatly , I think they are both greats just that Floyds style is a winner in these great match ups , but having said that I wont be at all surprised if it came out as you describe because I know Manny is a great also , I havent got a bad word to say about either of these two and cant wait for this fight , boxing is very healthy
I see May trying to play his mind games on Pac, and will engage more than we expect him to, to try to make Pacman and his corner, primarily Freddie Roach, to second guess his every move, throw their game plan off by doing the unexpected. I also feel Floyd CAN'T afford to give away early rounds and expect to catch up easy in the later rounds like some of his previous fights because Pacquiao and his work rate doesn't have a stop button, and his power at the later stages of his fights doesn't seem to lose its luster. His gas tank is bottomless and self refilling.
One thing I'm sure though, we're in for a treat next year!Comment

Its not potshotting but ring generalship , its not running but controlling your man , Floyd is such a master of his trade most of you dont see what he is actually doing , he is so efficient while sapping the strength out of his opponents , his counter punching is so precise and accurate he make opponents think and he who thinks hesitates , game over .Comment
