Indeed. Could Berto be better? Yea. But when the only time you've stepped up was to go life and death with Luis Collazo, it's too early to call him better than Cotto. End of story.

He has quicker hands, nice uppercuts, heart, does not quit.

You think Berto would run away from a former Straweight? or take a knee in front of a come forward fighter? Face it, your Cotto is limited and was never anything special.

Berto, in his supposed worst and ugliest fight, shut out Urango 12-0. HIS WORST FIGHT was a damn shut out ffs.
I guess you missed the Collazo fight then.

Berto does have one wicked uppercut. I'm still taking Sugar.

The Collazo fight was erased from time apparently.

All I know is that Berto wouldn't have beaten the Cotto and Mayorga that Mosley fought. This is a hard fight for Berto to be honest. He is flat footed and his reach isn't like Mosley's. So I doubt Berto's jab would give Mosley problems. The Collazo fight showed Berto's lack of inside game. His stamina isn't that great. He seemed a little nervous about Urango's power in the fight to. Shane is bigger and much faster than Urango. Even though Mosley hasn't fought in a year. Berto hasn't fought in 8 months and looked to have gained a lot of weight.

I use to think Berto was the next thing. But something turned me off during the Collazo fight. I don't know what it was. But something.

He wouldn't have beaten Cotto, I can agree there but he would have beaten Mayorga, that's for sure.

And my dad can beat up your dad.

Go to the video block section and download the Andre Berto/Luis Collazo fight. It happened around this time last year.
