Another good fight to remember regarding Shane is the Mayorga fight, Berto has no issue clinching and making it a rough fight Shane had massive issues when Mayorga turned it into a greco-roman wrestling contest.

I have though Berto was going to win this for a minute now he just seems to me all wrong for Shane at this point in his career. It should be an interesting fight though a nice contrast between youth and experiance but I think youth will be served in this encounter.

Part of it may be I have watched Mosley for too long and know how he flubs up any momentum he gets in his career so maybe that is reflected in my view.

Yea I agree Shane will drop it on points I highly doubt he will get taken out (although it would be funny to see how many would jump on the Berto bandwagon shouldthat occur).

I thought it was Shane who was doing the clinching, although Mayorga definetly complied.

Shane just seemed to get exhausted so fast in that Mayorga fight. He was huffing and puffing by round 5 and 6.

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, he seemed tired like since De La Hoya, and we all kno what he did in the late rounds of that fight. He also dropped Collazo late and he seemed exhausted. ANd he definetly WAS exhausted in the Mayorga fight, and yet he knocked him out late.

SO, who knows. Mosley has some Question marks surrounded him going into this fight, and a 12 month layoff isnt gonna help mask any of them

Yes and don't forget that Berto was out on his feet and needed his corners help to get out of a fight with Cosme Rivera.

And don't forget that he looked like donkey **** against a slow, plodding Juan Urango.

              Mosley will expose the hypejob.

No I am sorry Berto is no Cotto. Berto is going to get ruined in this fight. His chin will not be able to take Mosley power. Mosley is not Collazo, Mosley is not Forbes, Mosley is not Rivera, Mosley is Urango, Mosley is not a Mexican cop. Mosley is on a whole other level.

To me that was Mayorga gassing out then Shane went to work beating the piss out of him.

I doubt Berto will gas out his stamina appears to be very good.

I think the Mayorga fight is a better comparison in terms of making the fight ugly. Berto doesn't have enough confidence to get into back and forth exchanges with Mosley like Cotto did. A lot of this fight will be in the clinch, where I think Mosley has the advantage.

Berto doesn't use too much movement, he either stands in the pocket or he hits and holds. When faced with a guy he can't hurt, and he won't be able to hurt Mosley, he'll hit and hold but that's a game I think Shane would win.
