My favourite Paul Williams myth. He's "avoided". I prefer to think of it as "ignored" and ignored because he hasn't proved yet he is an elite level fighter. Martinez has a terrible record for his age (more than 50% bums). Williams has been fighting bums until only a few years ago.

You don't just demand a match up with the elite fighters and get it. You have to earn it. Name drop me, tell me who Williams has beaten that justifies a title shot against Mosley, Pacquiao, or Berto.
