apparently, he had some kind of cranium damaged and all states except Texas (go figure) won't give him a license to fight. He has a metal plate somewhere on his head.

valero is licensed to fight in texas & has fought in austin as a headliner vs pitalua for golden boy promotions even though he is with top rank.

top rank offered willie savannah & diaz the fight but they declined even though they like to headline baby bull in houston.

the fact that valero has the wbc 135 title & is exciting to watch & can only fight in texas yet they declined to fight tells you a lot about what they think of valero. they dont want none.

valero made amir khan move up to 140. i read articles here on BS that team khan was targeting valero's 135 title then they saw his fight vs pitalua, hired freddie roach & consequently moved up to 140.

The problem he's having is with his Visa. His entire family was denied visa's, so it may be political, I don't know.
