im going for pac because of the mayweather's dlh fight. floyd clearly won but im sure if current pac was in there then it would have gone pacs way. split decision.

A swarming, smothering style can still trouble Floyd. Castillo was all about smothering, if not swarming, and he had pretty good success in their first fight..

The southpaw angle may be what Floyd is MOST prepared for. He's trying to get Zab as a sparring partner and etc, but it will still be a factor on some level. Because the shoulder roll doesn't do particularly well against left hand dominant fighters.

My point is if you add all that stuff together, you get Pac.

And then, Floyd has never faced anyone with pac's footwork, and footspeed...or conditioning. No question
ok then....hypothetically speaking, if pacquiao is able to completely swarm mayweather for 5-6 rounds and shows no signs of letting up, do you think mayweather will just take the punishment? people are forgetting that Mayweather is an awesome offensive fighter...the corrales fight proved it...the castillo fight also proved that mayweather can fight when he's behind on the scorecards and desperate......if mayweather needs to turn it on he will....but this won't happen...mayweather has taken those elements out of his game and that style simply wont work

Yeah just tr to swarm Floyd will make your night end a whole lot quicker...thats an easy way to lose...thats what Floyd wants you to do....lol....thats why he doesnt throw alot of punches to bait people into throwing alot...and he countres the **** out of them and make them miss in return...simple.

Pac is going to get schooled.

1st off, floyd barely beat an old Oscar!!But in fairness,he did stop Hatton, although he didn't belong at 147!!But to say the pottshot is impossible to stop is a bit um premature, here's why, that pottshot never beat Mosley,or Margarito,or Cotto,or Clottey,or Collazo,or Quintana,or Cintron,or any other top welterweight outside of Baldomir who in turn proved Judah shouldn't have gotten a fight with floyd to begin with!!Marquez had no buisness, none at 147,so that example is garbage!!True story!!

Well, Pac's type of swarming is different than Chavez's was. Chavez liked to impose his body on Floyd, to stay right in his chest...Pac swarms with punches..

Pot shots (attacking from the outside and skittering away) won't work as well on Pac because he is too mobile and coming right at you. It worked great on JMM because JMM is the type of figther that needs you to open up with combinations in order for him to counter you. That's why Floyd threw very few combinations in that fight. Forget rust and all that. It was tactical. If Floyd had tried to land combos on JMM, he would have got tagged more. Simple.

I'm interested to see when Floyd shells up, perhaps on the ropes, will Pac find openings? Or will Floyd be able to defend every shot? I think Pac will work alot on body work, and footwork and footspeed in his training camp. That's what I would have him work on.

You make it sound like Manny has Tua's left hook or something. Cotto took many clean shots and got hurt and got knocked down twice. But not down for the count.

Floyd has a better chin, better reflexes, the best defense in the game and has never taken a beating or even sustained punishment.

So how the hell is Manny going to put Floyd down for the count?

Is he going to go Super Saiyan or something? Will he triple his power from the last fight?

If Floyd has the ability to pot shot and flee the whole fight against the likes of Manny, I will be very impressed. If he follows that with a win over Mosley, Floyd should retire undefeated and claim he place among boxing's greats.

Now more than likely Manny will get through at some point and hit Floyd with a violent shot. If that shot does the type of damage that has people thinking Manny is on steroids... Floyd's pot shotting style will go out the window for running and holding survival mode.

Every boxer can be beat. No one is invincible.
