I agree he's slow, and Paulie would probably beat him. But Urango has 10 times the power of Diaz and if he could get inside, he would land, and maybe win some rounds. I don't think Paulie's capable of shutting world class fighters out. Even though he dominated Diaz in the rematch IMO, Diaz still won some rounds simply because Paulie gave them away.

I don't think he'd be inclined to do anywhere near as much clowning around with the likes of Urango. Everyone knows Diaz is somewhat feather-fisted, but Urango's power - if he gets on in the inside and lands - is no joke.

Malignaggi's best option would be to keep a level head, stop with the clowning, and box to an easy UD. Urango always runs out of ideas if his opponent maintains distance, and that's what Malignaggi does best.

Rather than this fight, I'd prefer to see any combination of Urango, Holt and Maidana getting it on in the ring. ****ers-R-Us!

If I had to predict how the fight would go down. Malignaggi wins the 1st and 2nd, Urango gets some in the middle, but from round 8 or so on Paulie sweeps. Urango would run out of ideas as you put it.

Sounds right to me. I mean, let's face it - this is Malignaggi we're talking about. He can't ever completely keep himself from clowning or doing something ****** to give a few rounds away. It could be like the Ngoudjo fight some years ago, where he got drawn unnecessarily into a slugfest.

(I quite enjoyed Urango's destruction of Ngoudjo this year, though. And that's not to say I don't like Ngoudjo, because do.)
