Ive been a fan of Kelly for a while. Ever since he beat Miranda, I had high hopes for him becoming THE NEXT. Ya know, the Haglers, the Hopkins, the Monzons. Jermain Taylor wasnt the guy, and I really hoped Kelly was.
The beating he took from Hopkins, the injury/Illness, and the lay off have me worried. I dont want to count the guy out, but it will be surprising to see him rise back to his previous position at this point. Sure, hes gonna put it down hard this weekend, but after that he is gonna have to fight someone with a pulse and make a statement.

Pavlik should have taken part in the Super Six, really. The staph infection thing is hindrous, but hey, if you can't defend your belts, then you should return them. Look. There's no point in being champion while there is a massive event going on to decide who really is the best of the best. Since the Hopkins loss, Pavlik hasn't been a man we used to know. How sad and pathetic.

Winning is the only way Kelly is gonna get rid of all the negativity around him right now. A fight agains Williams or Sturm might put him in the right direction. The problem is there is not a lot of big names at his weight class unless also Martinez decides to go up in weight

Really? You still think after Martinez that he could beat Pavlik who hits a **** load harder than Martinez and PWill with his rigid style is so easy to hit. Plays right into Pavlik's gameplan.

Pavlik's power is overrated. He had to hit Taylor a bunch of times to KO him and Taylor's stamina and chin are awful. So is Miranda's. Pavlik needs to quit fighting below par opponents. That's all there is to it.
