marquez is a lucky boy. he lost the firsy fight v pac (judge error) a few seconds more in the 3rd round in the 2nd fight he would have got ktfo. all the hoopla would have never happened. he got kd v barrera that wasn't counted, in my opinion without the cut v juan diaz he would have lost.

No one overrates JMM, The man is finally getting his due, He had to be under Barrera and Morales shadow for a long while but am glad he getting his dues from real boxing fans.

marquez fought pac at the right time of his career. first time green, second time obviously weight drained considering he moved up 2 weights an has performed even better.

I don’t think JMM is overrated, I think he’s just now getting recognized. Recently he’s fought some great fighters, I just think he was mismanaged for a number of years. Since 2004 he’s fought some big names, I still think he lost to Barrera (no way he was beating the count and even without that I still think Marco won) but he definitely seems willing to fight anyone.

Listen you clowns, jmm at 126 and 130 beat Barerra, beat everyone infront of him. pacquiao made barerra, morales and others his bitches, but jmm came by and outboxed and beat up pacquaio all over the ring as well. There is a reason pacquiao chose to fight him 5 years after the first fight when it looked like marquez got old, but what a surprise he found.

barerra has lost to the likes of junior jones, and morales lost to zaheer ****ing raheem.
