As a fan, I wasn't too happy with Ortiz last weekend. He still gets hit far too much and chooses to engage in scraps when it's not the right moment, all whilst being too gunshy from a distance. He just didn't look quite right - maybe he's suffering from Cotto syndrome...

As far as Khan goes, he'd give Ortiz a good challenge. They both have blazing handspeed, pop in their punches (with a fair bit of power), and tight defences when at long range. Both are also looking too big at 140! I reckon Ortiz will fight regularly at 147 very soon, whilst Khan will follow in a few years' time. They're tanks at 140.

True but khan has never tested power like ortiz..The last person with
power khan faced..well we all know what happend. And imo presscott
is not even a big puncher. There is a reason why he is avoding maidiana.

50/50 it could go either,if they fought 4 times in a row it would probaly end up 2-2

          Khan - Got KOd
          Ortiz - Gave up

I think it's a 50/50 fight. Both do not like to get hit. But I think Ortiz could withstand alot longer than Khan.

Khan has more than enough speed, with power behind it to bother Ortiz. Ortiz has more than enough power, with speed behind it to bother Khan. 50/50.

second mistake and rush him again.Ortiz has alot of power tho.
I'll say it first. Nothing against the kid but Ortiz isn't going nowhere. Khan is still a question mark to me, so far so good for Khan with the chin obviously being his soft spot.

Both are my favorite young fighters at the moment. As of now, i would say Khan is the better boxer, and would handle Ortiz pretty well. But lets see...We could have very well a trilogy in the making here if these two guys decide to see whos better.
