Universum presents another big show on Saturday in Schwerin and it will be another late night as well as both main fights and a swingbout are scheduled to go ahead after 11.15 PM. Headliner is WBO light heavyweight king Juergen Braehmer who makes the first defense of the title against Russian Dmitry Sukhotsky, an unbeaten but also untested fighter. WBC interim middleweight champ Sebastian Zbik takes on Italian Emanuele Della Rosa in the co-headliner. On the undercard there are several interesting matchups. Cruiser Aleksander Alekseev fights Australian Daniel Ammann over ten and Polish jr middleweight Damian Jonlak might get it tough against Romanian spoiler Vasile Surcica. "Golden" Jack Culcay makes his prodebut at jr middle and is in against Czech Jindrich Kubin. Finally, at cruiser Igor Michalkin squares off against Frenchman Doudou Ngumbu, the former WBC Intīl titleholder, over eight. [Click Here To Read More]

Good to see Brahmer and Zbik are following in Erdei's footsteps and starting their "title" tenures defending at home against utterly unqualified, lightweight opposition. Meet the new Universum champions, same as the old Universum champions.
