So true about the some of the American fans on this forum. They are so easy to read. First they hate the Russians. Then they hate Calzhage, Kessler and Hatton. Now they hate Green.

    Go figure ;-)

The co-feature would be Darchinyan, the WBC/WBA super flyweight champion, defend his title in a rematch with interim-champion Nonito Donaire. [Click Here To Read More]
This would be nice. But would Bernard want to fight there???

Does Roy want a Rematch or something? First I've heard of it.

Come on man. Even the biggest Hopkins supporter can't condone this absolute joke.
who the hell else in boxing has fought the type of competition Hopkins has over the last years......JT was young primed and UNDEFEATED......Tarver had beaten EVERY man he ever faced......Winky hadn't lost in like 9 years.......Calzaghe was UNDEFEATED and UNDISPUTED in his division and the 2nd best ranked fighter in the world......Pavlik was young primed and UNDEFEATED......ALL these guys were linear WORLD CHAMPS at one time or another.......he was the UNDERDOG in ALL of those fights!!......in fact he was ALREADY 40 yrs old when he fought this schedule.......it seems like your memory is short or your hate for B.Hop runs long!!......how can ANYONE complain about B.Hop fighting Green at this stage of his career or a Ornelas?!?

              Supposedly.

I read some interview where ROy said he was treated like **** out here and he had some rematch clause in the contract and he wants it validated.

Not sure how legit it all is.

I was under the impression that Showtime doesn't sign long term contracts, you know the 'No rights, great fights' expression. And if they are signing fighters and they did sign Vic Darchinyan, that would have been ******. Vic is clearly on his way down now. If Showtime wants to sign any fighters, it should be Timothy Bradley. Desert Storm is the real deal and continues to improve in every fight.

If Green fights Hopkins then I will be hoping for that KO...Darchiniyan VS Donaire must be on the undercard for this to be a hit downunder though...I was at Jones V Green and the crowd was dissapointing...13-14 thousand tops in a 18 thousand arena...and a **** undercard to boot.
So sad to see the fight stopped so early and Jones deserves a rematch should Green beat Hopkins...he will block and counter his way to a boring ass desicion should Green not KO his ass....zzzz
