Where was Winky Wright ranked P4P just before he fought Hopkins?

Anybody got an article where it says whether he was #2 or was he further down the list at that point?

He was 3 because Pacquiao had surpassed him after demolishing Morales and Winky had the draw with taylor

I think he was rated at #3. Not 100% sure, though.

he was very high...he had back to back wins over mosley...a win over trinidad and sam soliman...i think he beat jermain taylor, but that is my opinion...however, he didn't look good against hopkins...most likely the weight...

SO it's not the 2007 issue? Because Hopkins beat him in late 2007.

And in the 2007 ranking, he was at # 9.

Excuse me, I was asking Thread Starter. And nobody is looking at boxrec but at Ring Magainze rankings.

I wanna know for debating purposes via private email.

Yeah, he was #3 at the end of 2006, and #9 at the end of 2007.

Exactly what he was in the middle of the year, right before he fought Hopkins in July, it's not listed. But what fighters ranked below Wright did a whole lot during the first half of 2007 to jump above him?
