We always had cook off everytime DLH fought, he's probably the only Mexican we did that for, boy i miss them cook offs, my whole family like Oscar, too bad he done, that man brought our whole family together, we could go months without seeing each other but we could always count on the next DLH fight and we wuz back together again.

Julio Cesar Chavez for our family...everyone gathered in our house ate, drank, pulled out numbers from a hat and if the fight ended in that round you got 60$, we paid 5$ and took out a piece of paper from the hat with a number on it...man i miss those times.

when i was young i was really the only one into boxing...but my father liked julio cesar chavez...i had the black box so i saw all the ppv's and i usually would end up watching them alone..but since i got my cousin into boxing with the tito mayorga fight slowly but surely the number of people who join up to watch the fights have grown..and now we all go to see fights at the garden or ac...cotto is the biggest with us
