Santiago is a joke and was giving the worst advice I have ever hear! In the 11th he was telling Cotto that he was ok and that if Manny wanted to fight all night than they could. At this point Cotto was a MESS. Cotto did not respect Mannys power at all and went in face first. Nacho would make Cotto a champ again!
With a different trainer Cotto could hava beat Manny....

Sorry but I’m Boricua and I don’t think the outcome would have changed either way.Santiago is a joke and was giving the worst advice I have ever hear! Nah, I doubt it.
Pac would've hit him eventually and he would've hopped on his bike as usual ans pedaled away throwing arm punches off his back leg for the rest of the fight.
I don't think much could've changed that.
Lots of times guys go to their instincts when they get hit.Comment

He's shot now, but if he hadn't agreed to a catchweight and had a real trainer he probably wins that fight by k.o.
He looked physically weak to me compared to his other fights.Comment

I was at the fight in the MGM Grand and I sat alongside many other Puerto Ricans who also thought the same when they saw Manny Punish Cotto. We knew though the pill was hard to swallow we were witnessing a once in a life time fighter in Manny, he was the better man and the more complete fighter.

****m richardson or roach would have given cotto the right advice and training for a pac fight that would have given him the best chance to win the problem is roach trains pac and ****m trains mosley so both would be almost impossible to get and also cotto seems like a stubborn guy and i doubt he would have used their help even if they were available. one of those trainers and a time machine to bring the cotto back before the margs fight would have given him a chance to stop pacComment
