    Who has James Page beat?

I was watching the Corrales Mayweather fight, and Lampley asked George Foreman who was best p4p, essentially. He said is it, RJJ, Trinidad, Mosley, or Floyd?

And George Foreman said until someone fights a guy named Page at 147, nobody is p4p...

James Page, consequently, lost his next match about a month later, and retired.

Then, 10 months later this mofo tried to rob a bank, several banks, and got caught and sentenced to 11 years in prison.

My question is who has James Page beat to be considered on the level of RJJ, Trinidad, Mosley and Floyd? Or is George Foreman inhaling too many fumes at his grill factory?

        Yes, I agree...

Foreman is my least favorite former boxer commentator. What kicks it is, he's been doing it the longest. That's like his major thing now, and he's just not that good at it.

            HAHAHAHAHA

That was the laughing stock for a long time on boxing forums when discussing P4P back in the day. George might have been smoking some meth or something.

James Page was a good fighter who was one of the P4P hardest hitters in Boxing around that time, you should watch his fight against Jose Luis Lopez it was a candidate for FOTY.

I heard he was recently arrested for drug trafficking or trying to rob a bank, not really sure but he's locked up for a long time I think.

Page looked terrific beating the hard punching Lopez. Unfortunately it turned out to be a fluke rather than a preview. Page had good tools but too many demons to maximize his potential. When he lost to "Six Heads" Lewis he looked like an entirely different fighter.

I wonder if Foreman just knew him and liked him, maybe because Page was from Pittsburg, CA which isn't too far from Hayward, CA, where Foreman used to train.

Page had some talent, a monster left hook which almost killed Pestriaev, but was pretty screwed up in the head.

James Page was a good WW in the 90's. Solid fighter

And, Jose Luis Lopez another good WW.

Both were top WWs in the 90's along with Quartey, Oscar, Whitaker, Trindad, Carr.

Then early in the decade the new wave came and took over with the likes of Mosley, Forrest, Lewis, Margarito, Spinks, Mayorga.
