Yes, she did have a baby. I think Laila has retired from the boxing game to be a stay at home mom and take care of her husband. Personally, I'd like to see her come out of retirement and continue her boxing career......but having said that I'm beginning to remember her father who stayed around for about 3fights too long..........Ok....I changed my mind. Actually that's not true. She cleaned out her division and beat pretty much all of the top fighters including Valerie Mahfood who knocked out Anne Wolfe. Wolfe was the only fighter with a real chance against Ali but Laila retired before that fight could happen.
