Why doesn't Floyd fight everybody? Let's break this down.

"0".........................its all about keeping it.........in his mind its what makes him great........................poor kidComment

I think Floyd figures that as long as he keeps his "0" he can make a claim to the public/justify to himself that he's the best fighter ever without proving it against the best competition. He doesn't want to take a chance and shatter that image of himself, so he only makes fights that have good low risk/high reward ratios, a la Marquez.Comment

yes, but Floyd has a big ego, im guessing he wouldnt let Ocsar dicatate the terms of the fight and take more money after Floyd won. He probably thought he deserved the bigger share so told Oscar to **** himself. Oh, and Oscar gave him a close fight too.........
And the 2nd fight wouldnt have made as much as their first, the 1st fight was **** and wouldnt convince people to part with their hard earned cash to watch that ****e again.Comment

I honestly think he turned that down because it wouldn't have been enough of a challenge, Oscar wanted to come down and fight him, but I think after the Forbes fight Floyd knew the fans would get on his back about how Forbes beat him up abit so Floyd should massacre him easy. As much as he says he's not about the fans he does care what fans think and has said as much. He just tries to keep a facade up that he doesn't care.
His hands definitely troubled him a lot if you watch 24/7 with Hatton I think it was, it shows him having that treatment that he has to continually go through and the specialist saying that his body is tearing itself down from all the impact. Let's just hope his body is in better shape now and he can make some more good fights. Pacquiao-Mayweather is hopefully the start of a great end to his career.Comment
