Looks to me he doesn't have the obvious passion for the sport. He's a typical armchair sporting guru.

Though it might be nice to ask that "sports writer" if he bets on ****fights, or dog fights

I'd like to separate this guy from his senses for a few minutes.

Alaskan crab fishing should be banned. Deadliest Catch is one of my favorite shows though.

That moronic ESPN writer is as dumb as a bag of rocks, every sport has injuries associated with it. Might as well ban hockey, there are just as bad of fights on the ice, better yet put that dope in the ring and let someone prove he's not much of a man.

My opinion is if people don't like boxing don't watch it. I enjoy boxing, it's a great sport, i enjoy watching and participating in it!

At the end of the day these are all ppl who have the choice to either put on the pads on the field or lace up the gloves and get in the ring.....its their body and if this is the risk they want to take with it that should be their choice not to be decided for them ever.

If you don't like boxing, don't watch it. Simple as that.
