I think Wlad will take it slow on this one, pick his shots like others have already said, and Castillo will lack the reach or speed to pot shot him, so he will be boxed like Byrd was. I give Wlad till about rd. 6 or 7 to get him out, unless Castillo get ****** and tries to take Wlad out, could be as early as rd. 2 or 3...
By the way BOX. Seems your tryin' to start something with SAC right now. Like you did last week with me.
You make a decent point about Cstillo's handlers putting their guy in with a man with much more experience, plus exposure to adversity. But, you figure Castillo might rattle Vlad if he happens to make good contact a couple times?
I think it might piss Wlad off, and get him KO'd. If he does happen to catch Wlad, you guys are gonna see that Wlad's chin isn't as bad as many make it out to be. I know, I know, everyone will say that Eliseo doesn't have a punch. Nonetheless, those who pick Castillo to KO Wlad will get surprised if he does connect.

Early in this fight, Castillo will not be patient and will want to test that chin. He has nothing to lose. If Vlad doesn't fall to pieces, it will probably be a surpirse to Castillo, who took this fight, in part, thinking that Vald might be done before they enter the ring.
It's kinda' like Pac going both barrels aginst Marquez, so that he took care of business before his one-dimensional style was figured-out. Of course, that didn't work for him. Maybe Castillo will try a little of the same?
Fellow Klitschko fans, don't be so quick to write off Castillo. He did more than hold his own against McCline. He was pretty quick and was constantly beating him to the punch. It should be a good fight.

Yeah, I think it's very possible he might do something like that. If Wlad's smart, he'll keep his distance though and work off his jab (we know he has a good one). But you're right, Ya just never know lol

I think that two things are evident here:
(1) that you are just a tad thin-skinned for a boxing messageboard
(2) that you just are not comfortable with my sarcastic sense of humor (and that is ALL it is)
I merely defended my opinion to Sac and then made what I thought was a pretty funny aside. (Hey! They aren't ALL gems!)
To answer your question, I think Wlad's chin is definetly suspect but I'm not ready to say that he has NO whiskers.
There is no real shame in getting K.O.ed by Golf-Boy since by all accounts he hits like a mule. The next time he was so tired from launching bombs that you or I would've had a shot at knocking his big ass down! I stand by my original assertion that Manny lost that fight by not saying these simple words:
"Son, I don't think this guy is gonna go down soon, you better save something in the tank!"
Peace.
