Cotto has entered the stage of his career where he pretty much wants to train himself. This is the stage when you just fight for the money. That is why he has Santiago as his trainer. A yes man to hold the mits. Ronnie Shields would make a good yes man as well though. Evangalista was not Miguel's yes man. That is why he is gone.

Many people since 2007 have stated Cotto had been training himself as early as the Judah fight. I just think he hit his peak where the level of competition kept rising and Cotto's overall game and mental state might've been in question.

To me, I still think he's got a few more good fights left in him. Taking away the fact that the Margarito fight will always be in question, I don't think losing to Pacquiao is a bad look. I don't think anyone would've beaten Manny that night.

as you can see, i'm a fan of both of guys. but aside from respect i'll show you what i'm thicking about both of guys objectively.

hatton is done. not just done, totally done. did you see the most recent photo of him? it looks like a sumo-fighter. I can bet on that he can't make below 147 anymore.
yep. his Lifestyle is not fit at boxing at all. drinking several beers and eating fat food is the worst thing for the boxing. you have had to stop doing this things.Beers is worse than pees for your health and boxing bro..so I want him retire.says no more


cotto..when I saw his comment which is '2 more fight and then retire', I felt ass hurt..because he still have a potential. all he need to do is just having a time and good trainer. If you have trainer like freddie roach or mayweather sr. you'd be top fighter again..


give some self-confidence cotto...maybe it is the first thing you should get..
