Does James Toney really have the style to give Vitali problems?

Not to beat him, but maybe just to give him problems? I think he might, seeing how Kevin Johnsons defense gave Vitali problems. Or do you think Toney would freeze up too and be too afraid to throw punches or able to land punches on Vitali?

Yes, but I don't think he'd beat Vitali

toney gives everybody problems, but he's fat, lazy and too small.

johnson tried to shoulder roll vitaly... vitaly is too tall and just started hitting him in the back of the head.

No,Hes washed up and would get stopped.
Johnson was just a keep busy fight,Vitali prob hardly trained for him.

He would break VK rhythm up like Johnson did, Toney will also land the odd overhand right, but sporadically because he would be less inclined to throw that punch because of the space there would be between he and VK due to VK long range game and superior reach.

Toney would make it competitive to a degree but he still loses.

I think Vitali crushes everyone else in the heavyweight division though, I'm just a person who thinks styles do make fights. My other favorite is Povetkin but I don't think he'd be able to beat either of the Klitschkos.

He has the style to outbox Vitali but he's too shot now to do it.

He would probably last the distance, but I don't think he'd really give Vitali that many problems these days. A not so fat, old and lazy Toney would deffinatly do well though. Still doubt he'd win..

That is alot harder to do then to say especially against Vitali, since Vitali wins almost every round in most of his fights with the exception of the Lewis fight which he was indeed winning on the score-cards at the time of the stoppage. But that was a close fight either way.
