Vitali does not have one punch knockout power despite his high knockout percentage - he breaks down his opponents systematically with an accumulation of punches over the course of the fight. I simply don't think Vitali can land enough on Haye to score a knockout. Haye is far quicker and far more elusive than anyone Vitali has faced, meaning that the now slower Vitali will have some serious problems landing flush. Vitali is also easier to hit than Wladimir, who now has an excellent defence. I doubt even Haye has the power to hurt Vitali either though, although if anyone can, he can.

I'm convinced that a fight between David Haye and Vitali Klitschko will go the distance - it sounds bizarre considering that both fighters have such high knockout percentages, but provided they both fight smart I think it'll happen. I'm not convinced about either taking the decision mind.
It's a little strange to hear that a fighter has merely "a high knockout percentage" considering that he has 37 KO's TKO's and Retd's, out of 39 wins, the second fight just the other day, being only ONE out of TWO fights which went the distance in K's whole career.

Of that lot, he has 14 clean KO's..................not bad when you consider that the average ref [and there a lot of average refs out there] nearly always stops a fight for a TKO even when the guy is stretched out on the canvas, or is trying to get up, but won't make it, and if he DOES make it, he'll be a sitting duck.

I'd bet that of the 15-20 TKO's, probably 75% would have been KO's if the ref hadn't interrupted his count.

repeating myself. Haye will fight Vitali at the right moment and he will be the better man that night. He's too quick, and has just enough power to upset Vitali. Wlad on the other hand might go crashing down from a Haye right when they meet.
Chambers will be the proof in that Haye has more than enough to whoop that ass.

and lol @ ppl giving ruiz even a remote chance in this fight.
the truth. this is similiar to how i felt about Andre Ward before he taxed Kessler.get ready to catch the vapors yet again!

If Haye doesn't pull a Johnson, he goes to sleep. Plain and simple. I would bet my house on it.

Uhh, sorry. Not a high enough workrate to decision him and not enough power to stop him. Haye is toast. His only shot would be to go for absolute broke and hope he gets through. Vitali is way too skilled and has way too fast of defensive reflexes. He almost never gets hit by the 2nd shot.

He looked painfully slow in his last fight with his hands and feet. He doesn't move his head and fights in straight lines. Haye could beat him comfortably if he fights the right fight.
Hayes head movement looked great because he was slipping 1 punch at a time.
It's much different when you have someone actually throwing a ton of punches at you like Vitali has done in his last 2.

yeah well unless he could print his resume on a brick and throw it at haye's head, it won't help him much in the fight.

and who has he beaten that's better than david haye? have you ever seen him fight at all? or do you just go on youtube and search for that one fight that he lost and watch it over and over again. the guy has some serious skills.

David Haye will not beat Vitali, period, i can promise you that, even if they fight after his 39th birth day, which will happen because Haye is very inactive.
