Yes, i respect justice 90% because it is not perfect. your point?
regarding "training pads", capetillo knew he was not supposed to put them in and admitted they would do more damage than if they are not in there, they were used and not brand new. You would think that if indeed he was trying to protect tony's knuckles he would have used new ones. All I am saying is that nothing adds up in capetillo's story and apparently there was enough evidence to suspend them. Additionally, if maragarito is so innocent why aren't any mexican boxers defending him?
This whole thing was a political witchhunt from the beginning. A grave miscarriage of justice on the part of the reactionary CSAC.
They wanted to appear as if they were doing their "job" in the absence of any real proof.
Just some bitching from the crooked ****m Richardson about some training pads.
Poor Tony.Comment

He never said that.

Poor Tony.
Capetillo did acknowledge that the hardened pads would do more damage had they not been found by the commission.
“You pay for your mistakes,” he said. “That’s why I’m here. I’m human. I make mistakes just like you do. That’s why I’m here.”
“I’m here,” he continued, “I’m made a big mistake. I want to right the mistake. I take full responsibility. I did not cheat. It was a mistake. I feel badly for Antonio because he didn’t even know what was going on. Why am I going to hurt him? I’m the one who made a mistake.”
Margarito denied any knowledge or wrongdoing. I don’t feel I cheated,” he said, “ I feel bad. I have never been in a situation like this.”
He cited he has always paid attention to how his hands are wrapped and claimed that Capetillo has been his sole hand wrapper diriong their 11 year career together. During the hearing, he saw the pads for the first time.
“It just looks old. I don’t believe it is anything,” he said.
But upon touching the pads he acknowledged, “It does feel like something.”
Ultimately the commission ruled against Capetillo. Commsiion member Christopher Giza, M.D. who entered the motions against both men, cited in regards to Capetillo “I can understand making a mistake [with one hand], but how do you make the same mistake twice?”
those are the reasons why i stopped being a margarito fan.Comment

NO why doesnt maragrito man up first and go after mosley. so he can prove he can destroy mosley w/out used "training pads". it is maragarito who's reputation has been ruined and it is margarito who needs to prove himself.Comment

That is where i got what i said before. And I do understand why you put the article up but you can't ignore those things i highlighted. And if your theory is true which there is that 10% that it could be, then why aren't any mexican boxers backing him up and getting the story out is the question I would then have.
those are the reasons why i stopped being a margarito fan.
And also, one of the reason's I posted this was to illustrate the behavior of Richardson. He clearly went in there to agitate Capetillo, which would explain him making a mistake. People make mistakes under pressure.
And you know how old Mexican dudes or Hispanic dudes in general get pissy when you question them.
Richardson and the whole Hopkins team have a history of this ****. I mean hell, they did it to Tito also.Comment

You somewhat owned me there, but we don't know how much more damage would be done.

I just want to note that in this part of the article he is not referring to capetillo but it is margarito's acknowlegdement that the pads indeed were something:
Margarito denied any knowledge or wrongdoing. I don’t feel I cheated,” he said, “ I feel bad. I have never been in a situation like this.”
He(Margartio) cited he has always paid attention to how his hands are wrapped and claimed that Capetillo has been his sole hand wrapper diriong their 11 year career together. During the hearing, he saw the pads for the first time.
“It just looks old. I don’t believe it is anything,” he(Margarito) said.
