Ive heard this said before but i dont really get it, im not british but lewis doesnt sound canadian and he was born and raised in london if you believe wiki. I know he represented canada for a bit in the amatures but he always said he was british?? Correct me if im wrong

holyfield, hopkins, tyson are 3 guys that make the fighters you mention look like saints
too summarise, fighters that use dirty tactics could be any nationality, although i do have a feeling that you knew that and you just made this thread for some attention

The third page and no one has mentioned Matt Skelton yet. Surely one of the dirtiest in recent memory?

He was born in England and I think he migrated to Canada when he was in his early teens. He represented Canada in the Olympics as well. It was when he decided to turn pro that he decided it would be convenient to become British again. He was hardly ever in the Country and he couldnt understand why British boxing fans always preferrred Bruno to himself.

I was never a big fan of Bruno, but he seemed a decent guy and he did his best with the Tools that he had. He really needed to lay of the weight lifting and he should of took Tim Witherspoons offer to train in America with him. Lennox Lewis was British simply because it was convenient. The scarlet pimpernel of boxing Don King called him: is he from Jamacia, Britian or Cananda?

i had no problem with him being british,if thats what he calls himself, then thats cool

i think bruno was just a likeable guy,not the most naturally skilled but like you said achieved the most he could with the tools he had, people seemed too like that
