    Floyd, please fight somebody

Mayweather has a January 22 date on HBO, legal trouble notwithstanding. As far as I'm concerned, there's no reason we shouldn't see this guy matched not only competitively--but in mouth-watering superfights--on a regular basis. If his next fight is against someone like Junior Witter or Lovemore N'Dou, you can count me off the bandwagon. What is this guy wasting his time for-- a PPV with Gatti? He can do a whole lot better. It kills me to see a young fighter with that kind of talent and connections p!$$ it away. I wanted to be on the bandwagon from the beginning! I wanted to tell people that I remember the great Floyd Mayweather back when he beat Gernaro Hernandez for his first title. Don't get me wrong, he's still young and he still has all the potential in the world, but his career has lost so much momentum in the last couple years.

Floyd, please start the year with a Corrales rematch, Vivian Harris, the winner of Casamayor-Castillo (honestly, he beat you the first time.) If you really must protect your overhyped Gatti fight, at least give us Stevie Johnston, Acelino Freitas, or Paul Spadafora. There's no reason to fight somebody we know you can beat.

No disrespect man but you got to pay closer attention to boxing cause PBF's career has not lost any momentum at all in the last few years. Floyd is avoided by many which is why he is the #1 contender for the WBC cause Hatton, Gatti and a lot of the other guys wouldn't fight him. Floyd should try to get paid because everyone knows that it could all end with one punch and he could be back to building up his rep again. Gatti would get killed by PBF and I cannot see anyone but KT giving him any real threat in the division. His "D" and offense is just way to good for anyone to mess with. He is the best P4P to me and I do not see anyone from 147 on down beating him unless Shane drops down. He is simply just to good.

I may be wrong but it seems like you dislike PBF because I have seen some of your other posts and you always seem to pick the majority of fighters to beat Floyd and sound as if he has no skills. I got to give you props cause you got Pacman as you avatar but if you like Manny then I cannot see how you dont like Floyd.

04-05 is where that all started at, but even when his competition imrpoved people kept saying the same thing.

If you didn't know this you weren't following the sport at the time.

Go look through old thread begging Floyd to fight Hatton, Zab, Baldomir they are awful similar to recent people that the public wants to see him fight.

You do know Floyd plead out just to get the Gatti fight, right? When he didn't want to, but Arum thought it was a good idea so he did.

Floyd always said he didn't ever want to do that again so his current stance makes sense.

If floyd really ducked and dodged his way to making $20 mil plus per fight then EVERY PRO FIGHTER would be doing the same thing.
