The difference is that Malignaggi has 0 punching power compared to pacquaio's left and right hand that knocked both cotto and hatton down.

Hatton looked amazing in that fight, he was dodging punches too. He ground malignaggi down and forced a stoppage. Malignaggi has a little pop, it's enough to earn one's respect.

The only thing I see left for Hatton is getting outboxed by Marquez in a good fight, or cashing in by fighing Oscar if they could figure out the weight. That would be a huge fight (would have to be in England).

Mayweather and Pac both beat Hatton any given day...I just think the Pacquiao fight was way more humiliating...
