no not at all ... i'm not a huge fan of his ... but i think he had a bad stylistic matchup and got out jabbed ... paulie is fast and avoids punches after he jabs you 2 times ... Juan just comes right at you and only has decent speed ... he'll still be very competitive at 135

I've always felt that Diaz could only do well against stationary targets like Lakva Sim and Michael Katsidis that stand right in front and let him get his punches off.

The way I look at it, Diaz hasn't been the same since he faced his first non-handpicked opponent Nate Campbell in 2007. He fought a great fight in defeat against Juan Manuel Marquez but those sorta wars take it out of you. 140 pounds is just too deep for him to succeed in my opinion. Guys like Tim Bradley and Kendall Holt would be way too much for Diaz.

no he just needs to take his conditioning serious he can have more speed and ferocity at 130 or 126 he just needs to be serious and he can clean out those divisions...hes the cris arreola of the smaller weightclasses

tbh though, he's probably made at least 5 million dollars already in his career and he's 26.

So the joke is really on us.

Tim Bradley and Juan Diaz would just be an absolute massacre. Diaz would be eating a ton of clean punches.
