Is Paulie a different fighter from 2008

One of the main points Paulie stretched at the post fight presser was that in 2008 he ****** because of trainers and his new staff is a lot better and has brought back to what he before then.

I actually kind of believe him. I'm not sure if he'd beat Hatton now, but he'd definitely do a lot better

I believe he is. Would have been very interesting to see that Paulie against Hatton.

      No.

Paulie fought a feather fisted lightweight. really this paulie would've got destroyed again against hatton. Did yall forget that the main reason paulie lost against hatton cause hatton could cut the ring off judging from his fights against FLoyd and paulie, but he had absolutely no respect for paulie's power.

yes pauli has changed and i believe he would give anyone at 140 a pretty hard fight with his movement and speed

i do believe he is better now.........but malignaggi gave flashes of his boxing in round 2(outclassed hatton, but that was about the only round he did anything) and got shut down later.........hatton is a bad match up for paul......paul depends a lot on footwork, and hatton has explosive legs...........that said, hatton's chin must be even crappier now, so paulie could do better.....

No, he is still a cry-baby ***** who accuses other fighters of cheating without proof. And he is still the same fairy he was from 2008 with his ugly hair-styles and his gay outfits.

Paulie keeps getting better if you ask me...(coming from someone who has seen majority of his fights since cotto)...i think that the change of trainers definately helped him shine more. i havent seen him look so comfortable in a fight. his showboating was proof of that.

I think he's really heading into his boxing prime...even though his hands might be on their way out...

I think what we all saw last night was a combination of paulie getting better and diaz being the perfect opponent for him...

these fights with diaz will greatly help him if he can get another hatton rematch. Diaz and hatton arent exactly the same fighter but brawlers none the less and paulie could use good practice.

I think a rematch with hatton would go a lot more smoothly than the first bout.

paulie looked good against diaz in both outings...i had it for him 7 rounds to 5 rounds both times...the compubox is proof that he can keep up in output (out pointing/out hustling diaz both times).

he's definately on the right track to make a claim for being a top 140lb fighter...maybe he wont be the #1 man but he definately is top 4 if you ask me.

with hatton being 20% of what he once was now and paulie being the paulie we saw lastnight maybe paulie has a chance the problem was hatton is a VERY experienced fight with extreamy underated foot movement he closed the distance way 2 quick for paule n rough him up good inside

Hattons pressure was too much for Malignaggi, no trainer in the world could have helped Malignaggi win that fight.
