If Goldenboy is really that confident in Ortiz then they should get Mayweather Sr to train Ortiz and have Danny Garcia as assistant trainer and improve his foot work and how to control that left hand as he did with ODLH...if not then I suggest Ortiz to face Urango or rematch Maidana...I hate how ppl say in every damn thread that Ortiz is gonna quit...it's old already and you know he's not that bad of a fighter...he just had ONE bad night...don't forget he's only 22 years old...he has many years ahead of his carreer...

agree 100%. if anything, that fight will make him stronger because he knows he cant give up again or game over
I hate to say it , but if nacho gets to be his trainer , he could take him over the top.don't know how much Garcia can improve ortiz. He doesn't have the mentality or experience to maxamize the potential vic has.I don't like nacho , but it would be a good fit. Ortiz has bad habits that Garcia hasn't fixEd.
IMO Nacho is a lazy and horrible trainer...especially when trying to move a fighter up in weight or moving them down look what he did with Marquez and ODLH...I think Mayweather Sr would be up for training him and roughen up Ortiz and really push him to his best...Danny knows Ortiz well but he's not improving Ortiz or changing anything...but since he knows Ortiz I'd put him as assistant trainer and head trainer would be Mayweather Sr...
i'm still laughing at the word quittage but i do agree.
Like that one huh? I like to be verbally creative
I don't want to label Ortiz as a quitter but the fact is the first time he was faced with adversity by a tough, credible opponent and things did not go his way, he quit. Bradley is going to apply non stop pressure to him like he has never faced and I feel that he may end up in a no win situation and start to break down mentally, maybe not though- I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
Would this fight be on HBO or Showtime? I'll believe when and if it happens. I don't think anyone really wants to fight Bradley right now despite of the talks.
