I was watching this video on youtube about the best fights of 09 and I came accross a clip of what the referree asked Victor Ortiz after getting dropped from by Maidana...The ref asked Victor in spanish, "Estas bien?" meaning are you ok?, and Victor turned his back on him with no response, and then the referree asked Victor, "Lla estubo?" meaning "are you done?" but in a tone that made the referree ask Victor if he's done fighting and Victor shook his head to say no...here is the video below watch it at: 9:24

Another thing that I forgot is that when Victor faught Marvin Cordova earlier in his carreer which gave him that draw in his record; he suffered a huge gash by his hairline due to a headbut and Ortiz was arguing to the referree not to stop the fight and that gash was worse than the one he got from Maidana....just look below at the picture:

I just think he wasn't focused in the Maidana fight he was going through something with his brother and sister and just didn't feel complete...you can tell by the way he was not responding to his corner...but since Khan and Bradley are fighting I think he can get that rematch with Maidana anytime soon since neither of them were injured durinH their last fights...
