If Taylor has cleared all of his neurological testing since the Abraham KO, there is no way he can rightfully have his license pulled. You can't pull someone's license solely on the basis that they've been the victim of a couple of brutal knockouts, if that person doesn't have any lingering health problems.
Likewise Showtime would look like fools and hypocrites if they kicked him out of the tournament at this late date without proof of solid medical justification for doing so. Otherwise they put themselves into the position of needing to disqualify anyone who gets knocked out. And their scoring system is set up to reward KOs, so that really wouldn't make much sense.
They could try to force him to drop out of the tournament on the basis that he doesn't really deserve to be there, but then why did they bring him on in the first place? Are they going to kick out everyone who didn't look competitive in their first round fights? Taylor won more rounds than Kessler did, and wasn't absolutely brutalized over 11 rounds.
Like it or not, at this point the only ones that can stop Taylor from continuing are Taylor or his doctors. If commissions were going to start revoking licenses for multiple knockout victims, they'd have many worse violators to worry about before making it to Jermain's name. Calling for his license to be revoked is bias against JT's high profile career, plain and simple. This is boxing, not bowling. People get knocked out. Some of them get knocked out a lot more than Taylor has.
