that james kirkland could beat paul williams.... Now after last weeks fight, the forums were filled with "williams is overrated" threads. He fought fast southpaw with great footwork and a punch.

James kirkland happens to be a Fast southpaw, who may not have the footwork, but has more of a punch and has excellent head movement. He also applies relentless pressure, something we've never seen done to paul williams..

Personally I think Paul would beat Kirland. Sergio is faster than Kirkland and a better boxer.
Also I have seen Kirkland get tired when I dont see Paul or Sergio tired in a fight where an above average amount of punches were thrown.
Also Sergio is 5'11 and Paul 6'1" while Kirkland is like 5'8" or 5'9".
I think Paul would keep him on the end of that long jab and slowly pick him apart.

Kirkland hasnt really been tested but I can see him doing well vs Williams. Williams hasnt really been in with good tough young opponents everyone seems to forget that, Williams has more experience and hes is tough, but he gets hit way to much. I think Kirkland has good power but hes been in prison and not training so who knows maybe would be more appropriate for him to fight Angulo when he gets out as Williams would never fight him or Angulo for that matter. Wont happen.
