lets be serious now... yes vitali is beatable, BUT haye DEF cannot beat him. i would love to see the 2 fight haye will get his glass jaw broken... haye is garbage he ran the whole time against valuev who isnt a heavy puncher... please make this fight...i want haye to get his loud mouth shut for good... hopefully but doubtful ruiz shuts his big brit mouth

Haye's HW performances haven't been great either. I think he has the skills to beat a Klitschko but I'm not sure about his mental toughness or his chin. Questionable stamina too. Haye needs to get rid of Ruiz and do what he needs to do to get Vitali or Wlad in the ring as his next opponent for a big fight where he'll get paid properly now that he's a beltholder. Too much talk, too much wait. Get it done.

Saying that Haye has the skills to beat a Klitschko, implies that Klitschko doesn't have the skills to beat a Haye.

This heavyweight period is the one most dominated by a Champion. I could say "by Champions". The Klitschko Bros are so much better than the very best opposition, that they actually make the period seem a bad one for Heavyweights.

No period in boxing history [except perhaps that of John L. Sullivan -and that's doubtful-], has ever been in the grip of Champions so much better than their opposition, that they actually make good fighters [e.g. like Johnson, or Beck etc] look bad; that the Heavyweight division is regarded as being in the worst
"slump" in boxing history.

Until age, injury, or accident occurs, The Klitschko's are going to be in charge of the heavyweight division until they retire.

someone should sit buddy down and make him watch haye vs valuev and then let him explain how that performance is any better. I didn't see the fight last night but from what i have read it was more johnson running, always hard to have an impressive win when the opponent only cares about going the distance and not winning.

Haye's barking about how beatable Vitali is, is especially pathetic after he pulled out of the fight with him. Not to mention pulling out of the fight with Wlad. Not to mention sighting a reason of "unfair contract" and then signing for options with Don King, who will screw him and will make him fight his fighters for the next 2 years.

I heard that Lyakhovich is with Don King now, so if he puts his **** together, he might get a title shot sooner than anybody realizes. King's stable isn't what it used to be.

You do realize Vitali throws over 1,000 punches, more then Haye and I'm pretty sure more then Wladimir too. It is not easy fighting a guy who refuses to give up and refuses to stop throwing.

Wlad still sits on his shots though but most of the shots Vitali threw last night were arm punches. I wouldn't pick Haye over Vitali but there is no way Haye would sit on the ropes and allow Vitali to constantly throw

You are right Haye won't sit on the ropes because he will most likely be on his back staring at the ceiling with glazed eyes if he fights Vitali.

I didn't think it really implies he doesn't have the skills to beat Haye. Haye's the obvious underdog, but I think he's good enough to pull an upset if he can find a way to deal with Klitschko's size and strength. It wouldn't surprise me much if Vitali or Wlad beat Haye either, they're the top 2 heavyweights right now. I didn't think I needed to say that much. I'm just rooting for Haye to pull the upset, and I think it's possible.

Vitali was out for over three years, has come back to fight and fight frequently, and has barely lost a round in the four fights he's had with Peter, Gomez, Arreola and Johnson. Is there ANYTHING more predictable than the fact that Haye and/or Booth were going to rip Vitali after this fight? Even though he got a shutout on two cards? Look, the KO doesn't doesn't always come, especially when the only thing on your opponent's mind is to not get knocked out. Kingpin didn't try to win for one minute of that fight. He just didn't want to get stopped. Well cong****, pal, but you still lost, and lost badly. Vitali also said on the SKY sports interview that Haye is "the champion of trash talking" and that he wants to fight him as soon as he's done with Ruiz, if he beats Ruiz, that is.
