Showboating is usually funny, it gets the crow excited. Calzaghe's showboating was more exciting than his boxing.
Do you like seeing showboaters get embarassed in fights at any point in their career?

I remember olympian Anthony("I missed the Bus") Hembrick fighting on espn. He was undefeated and during the intro him and his cornermen did some wild dance bit. He went out and was stopped by the all business Booker T. Word in the first round. Classic! I imagine it must be very embarassing to think you're real good and start showboating and get knocked out. But it is entertaining for us.Comment

I'll admit that seeing showboater's get embarrassed brings a smile to my face, but when it goes right for them...ala. Mayorga/Forrest etc... then you can not help but admire that. Brings more excitement to a fight, and a hard-on on my behalf.
It depends who's showboating too. Calzaghe on Roy was wrong in my opinion.Comment

I made this thread to let people know that it is not a good habit for fighters to showboat especially if its too much. Its a disrespect first to the opponent in front of them and it also disgusts many fans.Comment
