I thought Peterson beat up Floyd in sparring

Most boxers in trainng arent even fighting seriously. They dont fight the way they would normally in the ring.

floyd fights smart when he spars---he knows he had a long layoff and would be rusty in sparring--so he focused on certain things in sparring against peterson--so if peterson looked good against floyd--the kudos to him--but floyd let him look good by foucsing on thethings he needed to sharpen up before the fight with jmm---many fighters do it---i bet lamont only looked good--but not superb against floyd--and he lost to bradley--so whatever...

the thing is everybody goes 200% on Floyd in sparring becouse they all want to prove something. Floyd is already at the top, he just wants to practise in sparring the sparring partners have something to prove.
