Marquez is a bum now. That's what happens going 24 rounds with PAC amounting to 4 KD's and numerous times getting wobbled. Just like Morales when he went to fight PAC in a trilogy. By the time Erik fought David Diaz he basically got nothing left.

I admit he looked like **** in his last fight, but he went up against the previous P4P king and fought at a weight WAY to high (148), if Marquez makes 137-139 at the weigh in and comes in 142-143 fight night I think he will fair good against Hatton probably beat him, still Hatton does have a chance of beating him.

I think its because Floyd beat him at 147, people don't want to give him credit, I give Floyd full credit for that win, the Marquez win, not so much because Marquez moved up 2 weight classes, if Marquez does fight Hatton and beats him, people won't really give him any credit because they would say Floyd and Manny ruined him.

I was there for this and Gomez said Marquez had a verbal agreement to fight Hatton. Hatton still needs to say, but there's no reason why he'd fight Paulie instead of Marquez.

I'd love to see this fight too, i think it would be pretty damn close, it would be interesting to see what Hatton has left. That KO was devastating, and he has even more weight than usual to lose. If he's hungry enough (for boxing not chips) I'd fancy Hatton to take this one.
